It is sad to see the Green Party taken over by people who don't care for its historic values or for British values of tolerance and respect. I hope we can all work for peace in the region and reject the extremists, like those in the Green Party, who are making excuses for war.

On 4 October 2026 the Green Party of England and Wales passed a motion declaring that "Zionism is racism". It brands as racism the belief, held by around nine in ten British Jews, that the Jewish people have the right to a homeland of their own, and binds the party to treat that belief "as any other form of racism". Councillors and MPs of every other party are being asked to say, in public, that Zionism is not racism.
