Cllr Sean McMaster

Sean McMaster is a Conservative councillor for Councillor Sean McMasterConservative Details ward on East Riding of Yorkshire Council, in the Yorkshire and the Humber.

Yes. Cllr Sean McMaster put their name to it on 13 October 2026: "Zionism is not racism. I call on the Green Party to reverse its "Zionism is Racism" motion." In their own words: "The motion that was passed at the Green Party at their annual conference is a disgrace. How a supposed 'mainstream' political party has been allowed to pass such a dispicable motion is beyond belief. Zionism is NOT racism and I stand firmly in support of our Jewish communities and with the state of Israel and its right to exist."

On 4 October 2026 the Green Party of England and Wales passed a motion declaring that "Zionism is racism". It brands as racism the belief, held by around nine in ten British Jews, that the Jewish people have the right to a homeland of their own, and binds the party to treat that belief "as any other form of racism". Councillors and MPs of every other party are being asked to say, in public, that Zionism is not racism.

There is no need: Cllr Sean McMaster has already put their name to it. You can ask the other councillors on East Riding of Yorkshire Council instead.
